Blueprint Day set Aug. 3: Gowanda eyes the future

GOWANDA – Gowanda Central School District is looking for community volunteers at an upcoming Blueprint Day scheduled in early August.

The strategic planning event is an opportunity for the district to develop better plans representative of the community. The district is in the midst of a process that considers what’s working, what it would like to improve upon and how everyone in the school community feels about the work.

The district is asking for more public input so it can make the best plans that are representative of the community. The district needs a group of stakeholders to come together and weigh in on many facets of the district — where it is, where it should be going, and how it can keep growing – and volunteers’ input is valued and appreciated.

Those interested can attend in-person from noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 3. The group assembled will review feedback and provide the district with suggestions on how to best address the needs and wishes of the school community.

To volunteer, email Kathy Ferneza msferneza@gcslearn.org or call 532-3325, ext. 6300 by Friday, July 23, at noon.
