Towel Bingo set for March 13

BROCTON — The ladies of the Brocton Preceptor Beta Epsilon Sorority are busy making plans for their 19th annual St. Patrick’s Towel Bingo Event at the Brocton American Legion, Post 434 on Sunday, March 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Doors will open at noon. They have a multitude of colorful, bath and beach towels as prizes, as well as a variety of goods for a Chinese Auction and 50-50 drawings during the afternoon.

During intermission delicious treats are available and the auction item winners will be announced. Punch, coffee and snacks are also served during the event. Money raised from this entertaining affair is donated locally throughout the year to assist families, individuals and organizations in need of financial help or going through difficult times.

Admission price is $4. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed in the hall during the afternoon as this is a family-oriented event. The ladies are most grateful for the support of the community.

Legion Post 62 meeting set for March 2

Dunkirk Memorial American Legion Post 62 members are encouraged to attend a meeting at Post 62, 211 Central Ave., Dunkirk at 7:30 p.m. March 2 to discuss upcoming activities. Dues for 2022 must be sent in to remain in good standing.
