SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on Aug. 30 with 36 members present.

President Ed Newman opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag and all singing God Bless America. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “I Can’t Worry About Tomorrow” and offered a prayer for the members and the meal for the day.

Attendees enjoyed pizza and several delicious desserts. Winners of 50-50 were Kim Adams, Eleanor Lemiszko and Annette Hoeber. Gifts were won by Pauline, Dixie Carlson and Ruth Sheeler. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Janice Snyder (3 times), Sherry Spano, Ed, Sally Conover and Judy Hahn. Janice called bingo and winners were: Jan Polisoto, Kim, Ruth (twice), Pauline, Elaine Wodja, Lorrie Newman, Deanna Borrello, Judy Domanski, Betty Moores, Ginny Chesbro and Annette.

At the next meeting July and August birthdays will be celebrated with corn on the cob, hot dogs, cake and ice cream..
