Two clubs meeting through the summer at Anderson-Lee Library
Anderson-Lee Library, located at 43 Main Street in Silver Creek announces two clubs that will be meeting through the summer. Please call 716-934-3468 if you have any questions.
The Secret Society of the Twisted Stitchers: This club is for all who love handiwork. Ages 10 and older and all skill levels are welcome! Please bring your own supplies. Just getting started? For knitting, bring size 10/10.5 bamboo needles and a light-colored worsted weight yarn (#4). For crochet, bring a size H hook and light-colored worsted weight yarn (#4). Come and learn or come and work on a project with others who love to knit, crochet, embroider, etc. Starting in July, come on Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. No registration is necessary. Please stop in and stitch!
Chess Club: For ages 10 and older and all skill levels on Fridays from 2-3pm. Registration is not required. Please stop in and play!
SAR to meet
The Chautauqua Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will meet on Saturday, July 8, at 12:30 p.m at the Stockton Hotel. Anyone interested in the war for independence is welcome to attend. Lunch will be ordered from the menu. For more information call Steve Boothe at 716-574-7995.
Family History Club to meet
The Family History Club will meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at the Sinclairville Free Library. This is a group that helps each other with their family research.
