Ten facing charges after Dunkirk drug raid

Ten individuals — many no stranger to the drug trade — are facing charges after a second drug raid in the last six months at 13 Willowbrook Ave.

Late Tuesday, law enforcement released the details into the investigation into narcotics sales in the city of Dunkirk around 4 p.m. Monday. Narcotics Investigators from the Dunkirk Police Department, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and FBI Safe Streets executed a search warrant with Dunkirk Police Special Response Team making entry into the residence.

Located inside was Dakota Cordell, 26, Taylor Austin, 21, Robert Wardell, 48, Robert Kaczor Sr., 52, Robert Kaczor Jr., 28, Kathleen Shipley, 27, Jodi Messere, 44, Alicia Eppinger, 44, William Tolbert, 53, and Floyd Tolbert, 52. As a result of the search Investigators seized 5.72 grams of fentanyl, 2.13 grams of methamphetamine, 0.1 grams of crack cocaine, two dosage units of suboxone, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, a .22 caliber rifle and $91. Cordell was charged with third-degree and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, first-degree criminal nuisance, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Austin was charged with third-degree, fifth-degree and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, and first-degree criminal nuisance.

Wardell was charged with first-degree criminal nuisance. Kaczor Sr. was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. Kaczor Jr. and Shipley were both charged with second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree criminal nuisance. Messere and Eppinger were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. William and Floyd Tolbert were both charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. All subjects were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department where they were arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court.
