Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. Note that during the month of September, the adoption fee for adult cats (over one year of age) is reduced to $40. For senior cats (over eight years old), the adoption fee is always $30. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats. One must be 21 years of age or older to adopt a pet.
