SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on Aug. 30 with 31 members present.

President Sally Conover opened the meeting with everyone saying the pledge to the flag and singing “God Bless America.” Chaplain Pauline Flitt read the passage “I try not to ask why.” Sally welcomed new member Patrica Shroeder and guest Penny Goebel. Everyone enjoyed hot dogs and cake and ice cream for the July and August birthdays.

The 50-50 winners were Pauline, Harry Suski and Janice Snyder. Winners of the gifts were Max Church, Eleanor Lemiszko and Janice. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Arlene Miller, Elaine Wojda, Ruth Sheeler (twice), Eleanor, and Al Wilson. Sally called bingo and winners were: Gene Chesbro, Al (3 times), Candy Weitz, Patricia, Arlene Miller, Harry, Jan Polvino, Penny, Enabell Mirando and Mark Langer.

Next week’s luncheon will feature pizza and desserts. The Silver Creek Seniors meet every Tuesday at 1 p.m. For information call 716-934-2170.
