SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on Oct. 10 with 27 in attendance.

President Sally Conover opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing God Bless America. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “A Prayer for Hope” and asked a blessing on those present and the lunch. Stan Thompson and Sally entertained with jokes. Lunch consisted of pizza, coleslaw, tossed salad and desserts.

The 50-50 winners were Stan, Joan Militello and Jan Polisoto. Winners of the door prizes were Harry Suski, Dixie Carlson and Judy Domanski. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Dixie, Harry, Stan, Joan Suski, Enabell Mirando and Sally. Sally called bingo and winners were: Judy D., Jen Zlotnick, Lorrie Newman (twice), Ginny Chesbro, Pat Schroeder, Joan S., Pat Kruger, Carol DePasquale and Pauline.

Next week the group will celebrate the September and October birthdays with cake and ice cream. Members are encouraged to bring a lunch. The meeting ended with all singing “Young at Heart.”
