Lakeshore Humane Society Wednesday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from 6 to 8 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Lakeshore Humane Society “Souper Bowl Saturday”

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A variety of homemade soups will be available for purchase. (Vegetarian options will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.) For $20, have your soup and take home a beautiful soup bowl (with the LHS logo) hand-crafted by local artisan Lisa Eppolito. There will also be bread, beverage, and dessert. Lunch without the artisanal bowl is available for $15. Support LHS’s efforts to help dogs and cats in need of caring homes. Check out the “Cat’s Meow” Boutique, for pet-related items. LHS is collecting refundable bottles and cans in a collection bin in the lobby of the Adoption Center.
