The last of the indoor flea markets took place the weekend of April 5 and 6.

Organizers offered a huge thank you to supporters of the Lake Shore Flea Market, VFW fish fries, the 50-50 drawings and the OBSERVER. The money raised will help veterans in need. The indoor Lake Shore Flea Market will return next fall.

The market runs monthly from October through April on the first full Friday and Saturday of each month. The flea market will again be open during the VFW Friday night fish fries. For information regarding the Lake Shore Flea Market, call 814-779-5553.

With the new season upon us, it’s time to take the flea market outdoors. The Dunkirk Flea Market returns May 4 and continues each Saturday, weather permitting, through Aug. 31. The Dunkirk Flea Market is located at Washington Avenue and Lake Shore Drive, across from the Clarion Hotel.

The market is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and all types of vendors are welcome. You may have as much space as you need for $20. You supply the tables, chairs and pop up tent if you wish. For information regarding the Dunkirk Flea Market, call 716-680-0958
