Sheridan United Church rummage sale Friday, Saturday

SHERIDAN – On Friday and Saturday, the Sheridan United Methodist Church at 2679 Route 20 will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Items have been donated by church members, so as a multi-family sale a wide variety will be available. The sale will include items both outside and inside and will be held rain or shine. The sale is being organized by the Esther Circle group of the church and proceeds will go toward necessary church maintenance.

City museum open for summer hours

The Dunkirk Historical Museum will continue its summer hours until further notice. Cardinal Mindszenty High School alumni, Class of 1969 will be getting together at the Elks Club for drinks only on the evening of Friday, Aug. 2. Saturday will be informal with a food truck available at the Dunkirk Lighthouse Pavilion at 5:30 p.m. Any questions call 716-413-4031. It is $20 to attend for expenses.
