SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, July 30 with 27 people in attendance.

President Sally Conover opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag and all singing God Bless America. Arlene Miller offered a prayer for those in attendance, and for the scrumptious pot luck lunch. Sally reminded everyone to bring in items for our annual auction in September and entertained us with some jokes.

The 50-50 raffle winners were Sue Borowski, Ginny Chesbro and Elaine Wojda. Door prizes were won by Becky Fancher, Sally Shevlin and Jeanne Blakely. Lucky card holders for the wheel were: Harry Suski, Max Church, Joan Militello, Randy Nurmi, Norra Carroll and Sally S. Sally Conover called bingo and the winners included: Sally S.(3 times), Jan Polisoto, Carol DePasquale, Harry (twice), Lorrie Newman, Al Wilson and Janice Snyder.

Tuesday’s lunch will be potluck again. The club meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 1823 Lake Road, Silver Creek and is open to the senior public. Anyone wishing information about the meetings, please call 716-785-1074.
