Silver Creek Seniors meet

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, Aug. 20 with 28 members and 2 guests present. Vice President Janice Snyder opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag and all singing God Bless America. She then welcomed guests Gary and Francis Sargent. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “Even More” and offered a prayer for those in attendance and today’s lunch. Arlene Miller entertained with a joke.

The 50-50 raffle winners were Sue Borowski (twice) and Carol DePasquale. Door prizes were won by Gina Duck, Jan Polisoto and Gene Chesbro. Lucky card holders for the wheel were: Norra Carroll, Lorrie Newman (twice), Ruth Sheeler, Al Wilson and John Czuta. Janice called bingo and the winners included: Judy Hahn (twice), Lorrie (twice), Pauline, Norra, Max Church, John, Jeanne Blakely, Carol and Annette Hoeber. Tuesday’s lunch will be a variety of salads and desserts.

The club meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 1823 Lake Road, Silver Creek and is open to the senior public. Anyone wishing information about the meetings, please call 716-785-1074.
