SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Sept. 24 with 26 members present.

President Sally Conover opened the meeting by playing a recording of the Pledge to the Flag as told by Red Skelton. Pauline Flitt read “Daily Journey,” and offered a blessing on those present, the members who are ill, and the bag lunches. Sally entertained with jokes brought in by Jan Polisoto. The group then enjoyed cake and ice cream to celebrate the July, August and September birthdays.

The 50-50 winners were Norra Carroll, John Czuba and Elaine Wojda. Winners of the gifts were Joan Suski, Max Church and Tony Borrello. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Elaine, John, Janice Snyder, Al Wilson, Marge Church and Earl Sheeler. Sally C. called bingo and winners were: Tony, Max, Elaine (twice), Gene Chesbro, Pauline, Joan S.(twice), Eleanor Lemiszko, Judy Hahn (twice) and Lorrie Newman.
