Silver Creek Senior Citizens celebrate Halloween

Submitted Photo Members of the Silver Creek Senior Citizens celebrated Halloween at their last meeting.

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Oct. 29 with 26 members in attendance. Several members attended wearing silly and scary costumes.

President Sally Conover opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing God Bless America. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “Never Doubt” and offered a blessing on those present and the lunch of pizza, salads and dessert. Sally entertained the group with jokes.

The 50-50 winners were Lorrie Newman, Gene Chesbro and Sally Shevlin. Winners of the door prizes were Judy Domanski, Arlene Miller and Annette Hoeber. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Earl Sheele (twice), Gene, Harry Suski, Judy D, and Eleanor Lemiszko. Sally called bingo and the winners were: Gene (twice), Sally Shevlin, Arlene, Pauline, Lorrie, Ruth Sheeler, Earl, Ginny Chesbro, Janice Snyder (twice), Eleanor and Harry.

Tuesday’s lunch will feature chili and desserts. This senior group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Call Lorrie for information at 716-785-1074.
