SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on April 22 with 23 members present. President Sally Conover opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing God Bless America. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “Awake Each Morning,” and offered a blessing for the members.

Hanover Town Historian Vince Martonis was the guest speaker. Everyone enjoyed pizza, tossed salad and marinated carrots for lunch. The 50-50 winners were Gene Chesbro, Ruth Sheeler and Eleanor Lemiszko. Winners of the door prizes were Joan Suski, Lorrie Newman and Joan Militello. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Joan M., Sally, Ginny Chesbro and Eleanor. Sally C. called bingo and winners included Sue Borowski, Ginny Chesbro, Al Wilson, Arlene Miller, Jan Polisoto, Ruth, Eleanor (twice), Joan S., and Pauline.

Sloppy Joes and assorted side dishes are on the menu for Tuesday. The Silver Creek Seniors meet every Tuesday at 1 p.m. For information call Lorrie at 716-785-1074.
