Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet
SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, July 15 with 21 members present. President Sally Conover opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag and all singing God Bless America. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “Being kind says a lot.” Pot luck dishes were on the lunch table today. Sally entertained us with some jokes.
The 50-50 raffle winners were Eleanor Lemiszko (twice) and Norra Carroll. Door prizes were won by Don Adams and Dixie Carlson. Lucky card holders for the wheel were: Lorrie Newman, Janice Snyder (twice) and Earl Sheeler (twice). Sally C. called Bingo and winners were: Kim Adams (twice), Harry Suski, John Czuba (twice), Joan Suski (twice). Earl, Laura Restivo, Ruth Sheeler, and Pauline (twice).
Lunch Tuesday will be tacos and dessert. The club meets every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at 1823 Lake Road, Silver Creek and is open to the senior public. For information about the meetings, please call Lorrie at 716-785-1074.
