Roblin Steel Coffee Club meets

The Roblin Steel Coffee club will be gathering at Demetris Restaurant, Dunkirk, at 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 8. All former employees, family, friends are always invited to attend.

Night Out planned in Cassadaga

CASSADAGA — The village along with the Citizens For A Better Cassadaga will celebrate their eighth annual National Night Out on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Johnny Fessenden Ballfields, which is adjacent to the Cassadaga Cemetery.

First Responders from local Fire Departments, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department, and the New York State Police will be on hand to demonstrate and answer questions regarding their equipment. A bounce house will be available as well as an Ice Cream Truck, for the enjoyment of the children.

Wilson Endurance Sports will also be holding a Triathlon during the evening as well and there is plenty of parking available for both events in the same area! Many thanks to the Cassadaga Fire Department Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary for their generous donations to make this event possible.
