SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Nov. 11 with 17 people in attendance. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing God Bless America. Annette Hoeber read “A Prayer for Veterans.” The group then enjoyed a pot luck lunch with several delicious hot dishes and desserts. Thanks to all of the cooks! Jokes by Randy, Joan Suski and Lorrie Newman left everyone laughing!

The 50/50 winners were Tony Borrello, Joe Dolce and Lorrie. Door prizes went to Joan Suski and Deanna Borrello. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Norra Carroll (twice), Randy, Joan S., and Deanna. Elaine Wojda called bingo and the winners were: Norra (twice), guest Cindy Anger, Lorrie, Annie Griem, Tony, Elaine, Gene Chesbro and Randy. Next week’s lunch will be pizza and desserts.
