SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Feb. 24 with 20 members present. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. The lunch was pot luck which included a variety of delicious hot and cold dishes.

Winners of the door prizes were Joan Militello, Elaine Wojda and Ginny Chesbro. Wheel of fortune lucky winners were Deanna Borrello, Eleanor Lemiszko (twice), Wayne Hotelling, Joan M. and Annie Griem. 50-50 lucky winners included Janice Snyder, Dixie Carlson and Joe Dolce. Elaine W. called bingo and the winners were: Lorrie Newman (3 times), Deanna (3 times), Joan Suski, Janice, Annette Hoeber, Gene Chesbro and Eleanor.

The group decided to have pizza Tuesday. This senior group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m.., arrive by 12:30 p.m.. Call Lorrie for information at 716-785-1074.

Note: The group will have a musical group for a jam session on March 17, along with a St. Patrick’s celebration and lunch.
