Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet
SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on May 12 with 24 people in attendance. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. He then welcomed back Pauline Flitt and new members Tammy Haley and Helen Brock.
The group dined on bag lunches which were brought from home. Winners of the door prizes were Elaine Hotelling, Anna Griem and Earl Sheeler. 50-50 winners were Pauline, Janice Snyder and Earl. Wheel of fortune lucky winners included Carol Struwe, Earl, Pauline, Dixie Carlson and Lorrie Newman. Lorrie called bingo and the winners were: Dixie, Lorrie, Joan Suski (twice), Mark Langer (twice), Janice (twice), Carol, Pauline (twice), Eleanor Lemiszko and Harry Suski.
Tuesday will be a pot luck lunch. Also, there will be entertainment provided by the group “Tossed Salad.” This senior group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m., arrive by 12:30 p.m. Call Lorrie for information at 716-785-1074.
