SILVER CREEK - The Silver Creek Seniors met on July 21 with 20 people in attendance. President Randy Nurmi then opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. Chaplain Pauline Flitt offered a blessing on the members and food.
Attendees enjoyed three different kinds of sandwiches, pasta salad and ice cream cones. The "sign in" winners were Don Munch, Earl Sheeler and Dixie Carlson. The 50-50 winners were John Czuba (twice) and Jeanne Blakely. Wheel of fortune lucky winners included Judy Hahn (twice), Earl, Harry Suski, and Jay Clark. Lorrie Newman called bingo and the winners were: Al Wilson (twice), Jay, Pauline (twice), Don, Janice Snyder, Helen Brock, Earl and John.
Lunch Tuesday will be pot luck. This senior group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m., arrive by 12:30 p.m. Call Lorrie for information at 716-785-1074. Note: The group is inviting everyone 55 years of age or older to come and join in the fun.
