Kokomo Time band playing in Mayville July 25

MAYVILLE – The July 25 performance of the 2013 Entertainment in the Park annual summer concert series will feature the Chautauqua County band Kokomo Time. Held Thursday evening, this performance will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and be held at Lakeside Park located along Route 394 on the shores of Chautauqua Lake in Mayville,.

This talented band prides itself in being referred to as the “festive lookin’, feel good soundin’, full of fun band.” They are a high energy band which performs styled in beachy island attire. Kokomo Time’s music consists of a Trop-Rock Blend of the best of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s, Cajun-Zydeco Tex-Mex, and Calypso Caribbean. Band members consists of Brian Bundy on lead guitar, Jeff McCheski on keyboards, Spencer Drake on bass and guitar, band leader Jim Steffan on drums, with special guest percussionist Russ Faraci and other special guests Jim Larocci and Warren Sischo.

Rainbow the Clown (Jerry Stimson) will also be on hand to entertain the children with creative balloon sculptures and face painting.

These performances are brought to you free of charge through the generous funding and sponsorship by the Village of Mayville and Town of Chautauqua. Remember to bring your own seating for the outside concerts. In case of liquid sunshine, otherwise known as rain, the concert will take place at the Carlson Community Center, also located at Lakeside Park in Mayville.
