Creek Bend Bluegrass Band to perform concert Friday night

COLLINS – The Music in the Library Concert Series will feature a concert by Creek Bend Bluegrass Band on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Hailing from Buffalo, this bluegrass, folk and traditional country quartet has been entertaining crowds all over western New York and Southern Ontario for over 30 years. They have been playing and producing local concerts with the greatest names in bluegrass music, including the Johnson Mountain Boys, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, the Bluegrass Cardinals, Tony Trischka, Lynn Morris, the Country Gentleman, and Bill Monroe. Their highly successful concert series has allowed them to entertain the audiences of western New York and Southern Ontario with the best of bluegrass. Creek Bend has won first place in the band contest at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival and has recorded six projects.

The Friends of the Collins Public Library and Collins Public Library co-sponsors this monthly concert series. The concerts are free and open to the public; free-will donations are gratefully accepted.
