Movies at The Reg continue through the summer

The Reg Lenna Center For The Arts, with a newly installed digital projection and sound system, will offer movies throughout most of the summer.

The new series of films continues with Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel” (June 4 at 8 p.m.). In The Grand Budapest Hotel, quirky filmmaker, Wes Anderson, recounts the period adventures of Gustave H (Ralph Fiennes), a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. It also features Wes Anderson regulars, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman and Owen Wilson.

Other films in the summer series include The Coen Brothers’ “Inside Llewyn Davis” (June 7 & 11 at 8 p.m., June 8 at 2 p.m.), romantic comedy drama, “Le Week-end” (June 14 & 18 at 8 p.m.), animated Japanese film “The Wind Rises” (June 28 & July 2 at 8 p.m.), horror movie “Stage Fright” (July 12 & 16 at 8 p.m., July 13 at 2 p.m.), Swedish comedy “We Are The Best!” (July 19 & 23 at 8 p.m., July 20 at 2 p.m.), thriller “Enemy” (July 26 & 30 at 8 p.m.) and comedy “Chef” (August 2 & 6 at 8 p.m., August 3 at 2 p.m.). “Inside Llewyn Davis,” “Stage Fright,” “We Are The Best!” and “Chef” all have Sunday matinees scheduled for community members who work in the restaurant and bar industry who can’t attend regularly scheduled screenings.

Family Movie Matinees, Sensory Friendly Movies and special showings of older and classic films will be added to the schedule throughout the season. Tickets may be purchased one hour prior to showtime or in packages of 5 or 10. Concession items may be purchased at regular prices or as a Five For $5 special offer.
