Swiss group to take audience on musical journey around the globe

All the way from Switzerland on their US Tour, Journeys bring their exciting, timeless mix of grooving funk tunes, beautiful ballads and kicking worldmusic jazz to Infinity Arts Cafe, 115 E. Third St. in Jamestown on Wednesday, May 14 from 7 to 8 p.m. For more than a decade the six experienced top musicians from Zurich have continued to enthuse their audiences.

An evening with Journeys is a musical journey around the globe, to “Different Places” and “New Destinations,” which are the titles of their two CDs. Journeys are very happy to bring their music to Jamestown and take the listeners along to a wide variety of exciting, musical adventures.

Journeys’ members are Angelo Signore (MD, keys), Ueli Gasser (guitar) Philippe Mall (saxes), Luciano Maranta (e-bass), Willy Kotoun (percussion) and Robert Mark (drums).

The concert is free of charge. All are welcome to attend. For more information call 664-0991 or visit www.infinityperformingarts.org.
