Expect the unexpected at Fredonia concert
An evening of improvisation in many styles will be presented by the Improv Collective, a collection of musicians at the State University of New York at Fredonia that are dedicated to self-expression through free improvisation, on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 8 p.m., in Rosch Recital Hall.
Featuring music created in the moment, the concert is free and open to the public.
The collective, under the direction of Dr. David Rudge of the School of Music, is comprised of 25 music and non-music majors who improvise in any and all styles. They use traditional instruments as well as very non-traditional instruments to provide an innovative and creative musical experience.
