Conversation to explore photographic exhibition

SUNY Distinguished Professor Alberto Rey of the State University at Fredonia Department of Visual Arts and New Media, and En Foco Executive Director Bill Aguado will discuss the traveling Dos Mundos photography exhibition, its conceptual journey and the critical role En Foco plays in supporting communities of color by providing opportunities for artists and enhancing the visibility of marginalized groups, at a free Zoom meeting on Friday, Feb. 26, at 4 p.m.

Aguado will also talk about En Foco’s fellowship initiative. Now in its fifth year, the fellowship has been awarded to a total of 45 artists and produced the group exhibition, “Dos Mundos: (Re)Constructing Narratives,” currently showing in the Marion Art Gallery in Rockefeller Arts Center.

A question and answer session will be included in the Zoom meeting, which can be accessed at: fredonia-edu.zoom.us/j/91703565680?pwd=cXZYRm5tWU5iYjV2YmVUK0xVKzZNZz09
