CHERRY CREEK — The Cherry Creek Summer Gazebo Concert Series continues at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday with the music of “Creek Bend.”

The concert will be held rain or shine, and will take place in the pavilion of the ballpark on Main Street in Cherry Creek.

A relatively new group, this is the debut performance in the Summer Gazebo Concert Series of “Creek Bend,” who will perform a diverse musical mix of bluegrass with some gospel, western swing, cajun, Irish, country and novelty songs.

Keeping with this year’s theme, “Family Night Out,” supper-type refreshments will be available at the concert. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, although there are picnic tables and benches in the pavilion.

There is plenty of room for everyone to dance and playground equipment for the children to enjoy.

The project is sponsored by the Cherry Creek Community Association Inc. and made possible in part with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Services Inc.

The program is also supported by area businesses, the town of Cherry Creek and community members.
