CASSADAGA — On Sunday from 5-7 p.m., the Dave Golando Big Band will be performing at Cassadaga’s Floating Stage located on Park Avenue.

The band plays a wide variety of music including traditional big band hits as well as Latin, rock, funk, Motown, R&B, pop, television, and movie themes. The band members include some of the finest jazz players in Western New York from all star jazz groups.

Super Duper Catering will be on hand with refreshments or concert goers may bring their own. North Shore Arts Alliance members have been invited to show/sell their creations.

Come by boat or bring a chair. Bring the children and/or grandchildren as there is a playground, beach and lifeguards will be on duty. Parking is limited at the beach. Attendees who are able are asked to park at the nearby library, church or across the street from the fire hall.

This event is sponsored by a Restart NY Grant administered by Art Services Inc. In case of inclement weather, this concert will be held at the Cassadaga Fire Hall on Mill Street or the American Legion Post 1280 on Maple Avenue.

The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga invite the entire area to come listen, dance, and enjoy some great traditional American music.
