FREDONIA – The 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center will present a special free recital featuring some of the most talented students from the State University of New York at Fredonia’s School of Music on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

Presented in partnership with Ekstasis Duo’s Eliran Avni and Natasha Farny, the performance is part of a concert initiative created by the Duo as an extension of its own performances. The recitals feature selections from both the solo and chamber repertoire performed by the next generation of classical musicians in the inviting and intimate setting of the Opera House.

The recital will feature student performers including Ciji Gawlowski-Drechsler, Jordan Raupp, Angelina Seamster, Darren Sobol, Jodie White, and Sabrina Zuniga, among others They will be performing music by J.S. Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Fanny Mendelssohn, and Prokofiev.

Admission to the recital is free, although donations are gratefully accepted.

Opera House programming is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
