’90s Night hits Dunkirk Pier
Nineties by Nature will be the headliner band for Dunkirk’s Music on the Pier Summer Concert Series. UltraViolet is the opening gig for 90’s Night.
The city of Dunkirk’s Music on the Pier Summer Concert Series will host ’90s Night this Thursday. Sponsored by Nestle Purina, UltraViolet will open at 5:25 p.m. and headliner Nineties by Nature takes the stage at 7:15 p.m. The concerts are presented by DFT Communications, Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and stage sponsor National Grid.
UltraViolet is a three-piece acoustic band from Buffalo. Established in 2012, UV performs R&B, hip hop, and pop music from the 90s and 00s. Band members include Amy Griffith (vocals), Mike Criscione (guitar, vocals) and Doug Griffith Jr. (cajon, drums).
Nineties by Nature is Buffalo’s hottest ’90s tribute band, playing all your favorite Pop, R&B, and Rock hits. The band features members of Nerds Gone Wild and friends including Ed Wyner (lead vocals/guitar), Eric Rovner (guitar), Jeff Schaller (drums), Brian Beaudry (keys/vocals) and James Warren (bass).
On Thursday pier concert dates, the pier will be closed to traffic at 2 p.m. Guests are reminded to bring a chair. Food trucks and other vendors will be on site along with the beverage tent provided by Arthur R Gren Company and Southern Tier Brewing Company. The Dunkirk Boardwalk Marketplace will also be open.
