Acoustic Ear Candy to perform in Cassadaga
CASSADAGA — On Sunday, July 23 from 5-7 p.m., Acoustic Ear Candy will be gracing the Cassadaga Floating Stage on Cassadaga Beach (Park Avenue). Bring a chair or come by boat and let this group entertain you with soft rock, pop, classic country from the ’50s through the ’90s.
Mike and Marie Miller are on guitar/vocals, Harry Parker on bass/vocals and Donna Parker is on percussion/vocals. This band features exceptional four-part harmonies and are known to get the entire audience singing along. Acoustic Ear Candy is sponsored by a NY Statewide Community Regrant administered by Art Services, Inc.
On the basketball court next to the floating stage you will find the featured author and artist for the evening. Erin Gray, author of the children’s book “I Can’t, But I Can” is from Sinclairville and is a teacher at Cassadaga Valley Central School. Her book details the difficulties of grandparents and grandchildren living far away from each other. Wendy Woodard, acrylic artist, is from Jamestown and a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. Recently retired, Woodard has discovered her art talent and enjoys doing landscapes, animals and portraits. Also on the basketball court is Elaine Bardol with her Cassadaga themed merchandise. Super Duper Catering will have delicious food and drinks for all or you can bring your own.
The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga invites everyone to a wonderful evening on beautiful Cassadaga Lake. Enjoy the music while the children play on the playground and swim. Parking is limited at the beach. Please park at the nearby library, church or fire hall if you are able to walk the short distance to the beach.
