Osborn Nash coming to the Cassadaga Floating Stage

Osborn Nash will perform Sunday evening at the Cassadaga beach.

CASSADAGA — On Sunday, Aug. 20, from 5-7 p.m., local favorites, Osborn Nash will be gracing the Cassadaga Floating Stage.

The duo Bob Campbell-Nash and Liz Osborn were voted the “WYRK Taste of Country Risers” and recently opened for Blake Shelton. This unique acoustic duo is guaranteed to impress with a mixed bag of genres and artists from Patsy Cline to Queen. This free performance is brought to you by the Citizens for a Better Cassadaga and is sponsored by a NY Statewide Regrant administered by Art Services, Inc.

Also at this performance will be local author Shannon Reber, owner of Genres Bookstore in Westfield. She has written an impressive quantity of books that carry themes of acceptance and disability. Cassadaga’s own Roxanne Astry will be there with her oil paintings. Many are scenes from Cassadaga. Elaine Bardol will have Cassadaga themed items and Super Duper Catering will have some delicious food to purchase. You can also bring your own food and drink, if you prefer.

Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy this lakeside park with playground, tether ball, beach volleyball and lifeguards on duty for those that want to swim.

The Cassadaga Floating Stage is located on Cassadaga Beach, Park Avenue. Parking is limited at the beach, so please park at the nearby church, library or fire hall if you are able. Bring the whole family. The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga invite everyone to an enjoyable evening on the lake.

In case of inclement weather, the performance will be moved to the Cassadaga Fire Hall or American Legion Post 1280. For more information, call 716-665-8855.

Starting at $3.50/week.
