Fredonia’s Annual Festival Italia or otherwise known as the Fredonia Italian Heritage Festival will again be at the Fredonia Beaver Club, 64 Prospect St., this year on June 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Children’s activities will include crafts, bingo, interactive exhibits, and much more! Meet Mario and Luigi from Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers! Visit our local food and wine vendors!

Kicking off the activities in the morning will be the blessing of the festival and special Italian Dancers from Erie, Pa.! Late afternoon into the evening includes crafts and Italian themed vendors, lots of music and plenty of Italian food and wine. Listen to some great music from our Italian themed bands. Also, the Fredonia Beaver Club will be hosting a Morra numbers tournament, one of the oldest and loudest games in Italian history, with lots of laughs and plenty of fun. Come eat food, drink some wine, shop, dance, laugh and have a good time!

During your time at Festival Italia, please visit one of the on-site local restaurants offering Festival Italia specials – Mark’s Blasdell Pizza, Mr. D’s (Don Bennice) Italian Sausage, Rural Ministry spaghetti, meatballs and cannolis, Fred’s, CIAO’s Italian cookies and Gelati’s Italian Ice!

— 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Food and wine vendors.

— 2 p.m. — Meatball, wine making contest winners announced.

— 2 p.m. — Wine garden under the tent!

— 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. — Happy Days Band

— 4 to 6 p.m. — The Formula Band

Stick around after the festival for another band provided by the Fredonia Beaver Club and enjoy the music by Party McFly!
