Club donates books
Recently, a contingent of Westfield-Mayville Rotarians joined the staff and library board members of the Ripley Public Library for an unveiling of 40 Large Print books. The project began with Past President, Jan Berkhouse and Past Library Director, Rhonda Thompson discussing the needs of the community. After one month of possible local circulation, all the books will be available to the other 37 regional libraries. This is the third library to which the Rotary Club has donated including Sherman and Brocton libraries. Funding is provided thru a joint Rotary District 7090 grant and local club funding. One of the major goals of Rotary is literacy. From left are Thompson; Berkhouse, Rotarian; Stephanie Feiss, assistant director and Molly Harvey, director.
