Pie and Pixies fundraising event set
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua is hosting a pie and pixie event Saturday.
A Pies and Pixie fundraising event will be at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua (UUCNC) at 222 Temple St. in Fredonia on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Join members for a pie baking contest, pixie themed crafts, activities, parade, and basket raffle. In addition, sweet and savory pi and pixie themed snacks will be available for purchase, including slices of pie from the baking contest.
To participate in the pie baking contest, register your best pie here:
https://tinyurl.com/Pie-Contest-Entry-Form. There is a fee of $10 for each pie registered.
Each contestant will receive a voucher for two slices of pie (a $10 value). Pies need to be dropped off at UUCNC between noon and 12:30 on March 14, along with a complete list of ingredients. Winners will be announced at 1 p.m., at the start of the Pixie themed events portion of the day.
Each Pixie activity requires tickets to participate. The tickets for activities will be available on site for $1 each, 6 for $5, or 12 for $10. Decorate a cookie, make a fruit wand, craft a crown and wings, build with recyclables in the pixie fortress and make your way through the pixie obstacle course! All ages are welcome to attend, and all minor children must be accompanied by an adult. Young and old alike, wear your pixie attire for the pixie costume parade!
Parking is located at 222 Temple St. Please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building.
Handicapped parking is located directly behind the second building. Please note that there is no street parking available on that part of Temple Street.
