Cinema Series to screen ‘EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert’

The Cinema Series continues at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center with screenings of “EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert” on Saturday and Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The Tuesday night screening will be shown with captions visible on the screen.
Presley sings and tells his story like never before. Featuring long-lost footage discovered by Academy Award-nominated Baz Luhrmann, “EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert” is a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience.
IGN calls the film “a riveting, immersive experience that brings the King back to life for one last show.” The Hollywood Reporter calls it “a transcendent theatrical experience, an exhilarating party, a giddying visual and sonic blitz.” The Observer (UK) calls is, “a must-see for Presley fans and a boisterously enjoyable watch even for Elvis agnostics.” AARP Movies for Grownups says “it’s crammed with Elvis in performance, an experience that could have you dancing in the aisles (if not throwing panties at the screen).” Rated PG-13 for smoking and some language, “EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert” runs one hour, 36 minutes.
Tickets are available at the door for $7 (adults), $6.50 (seniors & Opera House members) and $5 (students) the night of each screening. The Opera House is equipped with assistive listening headsets for the hearing-impaired. Simply request one from any usher or staff member.
