Christian group bringing comedian Jeff Allen to Jamestown
Jeff Allen
Humor is healthy. That seems to be common knowledge. This is truly true when the humor is clean and God-honoring. That is one reason that the Chautauqua Lake Region Men of Integrity (CLRMI) is bringing comedian Jeff Allen to the Reg Lena Center for the Arts in Jamestown on Friday, May 15 for a 7 p.m. performance.
Allen is noted for many things. His “Happy Wife, Happy Life” message of a marriage gone wrong and redeemed has given laughter and encouragement to millions of people. Allen’s comedy drives home the humor in everyday family life and the joy derived from a healthy marriage.
Allen combines clean, hilarious humor like no other comedian working today. Besides performing at corporate functions and fundraisers, he regularly appears on television and radio across the country. Allen has been featured on America’s Got Talent, Netflix, Amazon, Dry Bar Comedy, PureFlex, Huckabee, Warner Bros., Bananas, Apostles of Comedy, Thou Shalt Laugh, and numerous other networks and shows. Consistently making heroes out of meeting planners, Allen provides world-class comedy. With over 400 million video views on YouTube and Facebook, he is a comedian and viral sensation!
The CLRMI has been bringing men together for three decades. Their mission is to equip men for a lifestyle of Christlikeness at home, at church, in the workplace and the community. This ministry is centered in Jamestown but draws men from a three-county area. Four times each year they hold a breakfast gathering for fellowship, worship, and for the impartation of Biblical teaching. Each year they also sponsor special events that can include spouses (like the Jeff Allen event).
Camp facilities such as Mission Meadows have been utilized for a day of outdoor activities for the men followed by an evening meal and program that includes spouses.
Over the years, CLRMI has filled up the Reg Lena Center for the Arts in Jamestown with speakers such as Patrick Morley (founder of Man in the Mirror Ministries), author Kevin Leman, and comedian Ken Davis. They also packed out the JCC gymnasium when they brought Darryl and Tracy Strawberry to the region to speak and teach on overcoming drug addiction and on marriage.
Later this year, on Oct. 10, the CLRMI will be sponsoring a Promise Keepers gathering called, “Wake Up Call.” This will be like a “pep-rally” to get on board with the 30th anniversary “Stand in the Gap” gathering on the National Mall that will take place in the Fall of 2027. The CLRMI took 10 buses of men to the “Stand in the Gap” back in 1997.
One of their special events in 2026 is fast approaching when comedian Jeff Allen comes to Jamestown. The CLRMI are hoping that the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts will be filled to capacity for this very special evening with Allen. Tickets have been selling, but there are still some available at reglenna.com or call 716-484-7070.
Since 2003, the Chautauqua Lake Region Men of Integrity has operated under the umbrella of The Better Place, Inc.
