Kokomo Time Band ready for another summer

Kokomo Time Band says it performs musical joy to make people “feel good.”

The Kokomo Time Band was originally envisioned by Jim Steffan as a band with a bright colorful people friendly look and a sound to project musical joy to make people “feel good” with a cheerful summery looking band with a groovy fun sound.

“I envisioned this band to have a Tropical -summery look to reflect and enhance the music that we would play,” Steffan, band leader, said.

The Kokomo Time Band more specifically formulates itself for summery venues occassions, events like festivals, concerts, beach clubs and restaurants, car shows, cruises, picnics and private parties.

Kokomo Time Band has a varied combination of All American oldies from 1950s to 1980s, hot trop-rock beach party music — Jimmy Buffet, Zach Brown,Toby Keith — and some newly added rhythm and blues and rock.

Kokomo Time Band will be playing at North Collins “Party in the Park,” Warren Rib Fest, Bradford’s Little Mountain Winery for Jimmy Buffet Day and Wild Wind Arts & Crafts Festival in September.

“We love connecting with people, families,” Steffan said. “We like to play cool groovy music and look good doing it.”

Anyone interested in more information about the band is encouraged to visit the Kokomo Time Band Facebook page or call Steffan at (716) 679-4311.
