CASSADAGA - The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga has announced the next performance of the Cassadaga Lakes Summer Concert Series will be Hooman and will take place Sunday, Aug. 9, from 5-7 p.m. on the Cassadaga Floating Stage.
Hooman has something for everyone - Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, Motown and even Southern Rock. These local boys will have you dancing in your seats with Johnny Hollins on guitar and vocals, Joe Coats on keyboards and vocals, Rod Horning on bass and vocals, and Mark Horning on drums. This band is a favorite at the Fredonia Blues Festival.
From 4-5 p.m. on the newly renovated Beach Bandstand will be Mark Wilson. Mark is no stranger to area athletes as he is also known as Coach Mark. Previously, Mark toured professionally as a singer and will amaze you with his guitar and beautiful voice performing folk and pop music across the decades
Cassadaga Beach and Floating Stage are located on Park Avenue in Cassadaga. Come by land or come by boat. There are picnic tables, grills, playground and lifeguards will be on duty for swimming. Bring a cooler or get a hot dog at Jake's Weenie Wagon. All local artists and/or authors are invited to set up shop on the basketball court. Please call 716-665-8855 if interested.

Beach parking is limited so if you are willing and able, please park at the nearby church, library or fire hall. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Cassadaga Fire Hall at 22 Mill St. or Cassadaga American Legion at 228 Maple Ave. For more information, please call 716-665-8855.
