Fredonia Middle School to present Annie Jr.

Fredonia Middle School will be presenting its sixth annual musical, Annie Jr. on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the District Auditorium.

Annie JR. is an adaptation of the beloved musical about an orphan in 1933 New York City who goes to spend Christmas with a billionaire. Classic songs include “Tomorrow,” “Maybe,” “Hard Knock Life,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You,” and “Easy Street.”

More than 100 Fredonia students are involved in the production including the largest cast yet for an FMS musical. Several high school students are serving in a variety of leadership roles backstage including choreography, sound design, and lighting.

Principal actors include Gabriella Domenico (Annie), Owen Gilbert (Daddy Warbucks), Erin Schrantz (Miss Hannigan), Julia LeBaron (Grace Farrell), Max Corrente (Rooster Hannigan), and Maria Maytum (Lily St. Regis).

Tickets are $5 and are available at tinyurl.com/fcsdmusic or in the high school lobby from 4 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 9, 14, and 16. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door starting one hour before each performance. The show is just over an hour long. Come support the arts in schools and these very talented students!
