‘Harvest Moon’ showings set for Westfield

WESTFIELD — Lake Shore Center for the Arts will be presenting its recurring classic presentation, “Harvest Moon 2022” today and Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. in the Jacqueline Phillips Theater at 49 S. Portage St. Tickets are $20 and available online at lakeshorecenterfortearts.com

“Harvest Moon” features a number of Westfield’s citizens now passed on, in an effort that they not be forgotten. This years performance includes visits from Joe Ricketts (owner of Rickett’s Market-Westfield’s Little Big Store), Carrie Twing (author, spiritualist, educator and feminist), Elaine Phillips (theatrical performer and teacher), Ree Evans (civic leader, hospital administrator and military nurse), Vincent Powers (our own Kentucky Derby winner) and Hiller Minton (war hero). Each will mesmerize you with tales of their deeds and their lives.

This is always a memorable evening and the center invites residents to join. Seating is limited, so order tickets soon.
