‘Champions’ to be presented at Fredonia Opera House

The next film in the Cinema Series at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center is the touching comedy, "Champions," starring Woody Harrelson. It will be screened Saturday and Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
"Champions" is the hilarious and heartwarming story of a former minor-league basketball coach (Harrelson) who, after a series of missteps, is ordered by the court to manage a team of players with intellectual disabilities. He soon realizes that despite his doubts, together, this team can go further than they ever imagined. Tickets are available at the door for $7 (adults), $6.50 (seniors & Opera House members) and $5 (students) the night of each screening.
