Furious George will be on stage for Music at the Point this Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Point Gratiot.

The City of Dunkirk’s Music at the Point Sunset Concert Series will host Furious George this Wednesday, August 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Point Gratiot. The event is sponsored by STEL.

Furious George is a classic/modern and original rock band from the Silver Creek/ Fredonia area.

They play everything from The Beatles to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bryan Adams, Duran Duran, Guns and Roses, Motley Crue and Alice in Chains.

Band members include Tim Fote (guitar/vocals), Alex Phelka (bass), Nick Watkins (vocals), Paul Graves (guitar/vocals) and Robert Fote (drums/vocals). Furious George will be releasing their debut CD of original music by summers end which includes a song that features Tim ” Ripper” Owens on guest vocals.

The remaining four-week music schedule includes Aug. 9 – The Trend (STEL VIP Night), Aug. 16 – Ion Sky and Aug. 23 – Refuge.

Visitors are reminded to bring a chair, snacks and refreshments and enjoy the sunsets and music at Point Gratiot.
