Black Widow, PBD are featured at Dunkirk Pier
Dunkirk’s Music on the Pier Summer Concert Series continues today with Porcelain Busdrivers and Black Widow for Party Music Night on the Dunkirk Pier.
The concerts are presented by DFT Communications with stage sponsor National Grid and production company Advanced Production Group (APG). PBD starts at 5:25 p.m. and Black Widow follows at 7 p.m. This week’s music is sponsored by Brooks – TLC Hospital System, Inc. – Lake Erie Medical Services.
The Porcelain Bus Drivers are a high energy party rock/pop band hailing from Jamestown. The band formed in the late ’90s as an experiment to bring back music featuring a horn section combined with a passion for a good time.
With a huge catalog of music covering seven decades, the PBD, as they’re known, is guaranteed to touch on the musical tastes of almost everyone in the crowd. The band has evolved over the years from a 10-piece spectacle to a streamlined, 5-piece, well-rehearsed machine.
The current lineup consists of Jamie Smith (guitar/vocals), Chris Raffa (bass/vocals), Julie Bessey (trombone/vocals), Kyle Gustafson (trumpet/keyboard/guitar/ninja warrior) and Kevin Millward (drums). The PBD is guaranteed to make you tap your toe and enjoy a night of musical madness.
From Western New York, the Black Widow band fronted by Lana Marie Hergert has been performing cover music at concerts, night clubs, corporate & private events and festivals for 35 years.
As winners of over 50 Buffalo music awards, their raw talent, high energy stage presence and first class production makes them a natural choice for any music events found across the East Coast region when you want top tier talent.
The Black Widow band has become a favorite for thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts. The band has frequently traveled between three states performing at main stage events for Ohio Bike Week in Sandusky, OH, Roar- On-The Shore in Erie PA, ABATE of PA State Rally and Hollywood Happenings in Gowanda NY.
