Furious George to perform on Cassadaga Floating Stage
CASSADAGA – On Sunday, Sept. 1 from 6-8 p.m. Furious George will be rocking the Cassadaga Floating Stage. This will be the last of the Cassadaga Lakes Summer Concert Series sponsored by the Citizens for a Better Cassadaga.
Furious George is a Classic/Modern/Original Rock Band from Fredonia. Playing music from the Beatles to Guns and Roses, Furious George puts on a show that every age will enjoy.
The Cassadaga Floating Stage is located on Park Avenue, Cassadaga and is part of the beautiful Cassadaga Beach. There will be lifeguards on duty. There are picnic tables, grills, playground and Dupers will be there for you to purchase delicious food and drink or bring your own. Come by boat or by land. Bring a chair or blanket. Parking is limited at the beach, so please park at the nearby library, church and firehall if you are willing and able. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the Cassadaga Fire Hall or American Legion Post 1280.
Note the time is different from previous performances in the Cassadaga Lakes Concert Series. This time change is to coordinate with the Cassadaga Volunteer Fire Department’s 100-year anniversary celebration. Please go to Cassadaga Fire Department Facebook page for the entire two-day schedule.
