Honky Tonk Heroes to perform Sunday on floating stage
CASSADAGA – The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga would like to invite everyone to the next performances on Cassadaga Beach.
On Sunday, July 13 at 4 p.m. at the gazebo, “Still Bill” Moran from Stockton will be playing classic folk and protest music of the ’60s and ’70s. His music portrays a sense of peace, positivity and calls all who listen to unite, sing along and set aside their differences.
From 5-7 p.m. Honky Tonk Heroes will be gracing the Floating Stage. They will be playing all the twangy, boot-stompin’ honky tonk country dance hits you love. They’ll have you kicking up your heels all evening. There is plenty of room to dance on the basketball court right next to the stage.
All the band members hail from Chautauqua County: Dave Swart on drums, Bryan Moore on lead guitar and vocals, Matt Gronquist on fiddle and guitar, Matt Homan on bass and Tom Hodges on pedal steel guitar. You won’t want to miss this high octane energy band!
Funding for this performance is made possible by the 2025 Creative Impact Fund initiated by the NYS Senate and administered by Arts Services Inc.
The Beach Gazebo and the Floating Stage are both located on Cassadaga Beach – a beautiful lakeside park located on Park Avenue in Cassadaga. There is a playground, tetherball, beach volleyball, picnic tables and grills. Lifeguards will be on duty. Bring a chair or come by boat. Bring a cooler or buy food and drink from Cassadaga Youth Sports. There may be a few vendors as well.
Beach parking is limited. If you are able and willing, please park at the nearby church, library and fire hall. In case of inclement weather, this concert will be moved to the Cassadaga Fire Hall at 22 Mill St. or the American Legion Post 1280 on 228 Maple Ave. For more information, call 716-665-8855.
