"The Addams Family" comes to Main Street Studios

Tickets are on sale for Main Street Studios gleefully ghoulish musical production of “The Addams Family.”

Main Street Studios continues to deliver high quality stage productions to the area with a blend of entertainment professionals, local grade school, high school, college and community talent.

“It is a theatrical feast for all,” says Ted Sharon, owner of Main Street Studios, and one of the producers of the production. “Mixing professionals, students and community members is the ‘gold standard’ for theatrical production, and we’re able to do it show after show.”

Janie Villella, co-Artistic Director of Play on Arts, and dance choreographer for the production is thrilled. “The show is about love, it’s about family, and figuring out how we all grow together.”

Phil McMullen, executive director and director of “The Addams Family: talked of the “home” that people have found working and creating at Main Street Studios. “It’s a family. We are all part of something special and it’s a privilege to work with these amazing people.”

Play On Arts is the non-profit company that creates the area’s year-round productions, and is a resident of the Center for Innovation & Economic Development, 214 Central Ave. in Dunkirk.

The Addams Family runs Thursday to Saturday, and Oct. 23 to 25 at 7:30 p.m. There is also a special matinee on Oct. 18 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for the general public, and $15 for students and seniors. Presale tickets are recommended, and available at www.mainstreetstudios.org. Performances will take place at Main Street Studios, 50 W. Main St., Fredonia. Tickets can also be purchased at the door one hour before showtime.
