Reverend George Buchanan to speak at UUCNC

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua announces that Consulting Minister Reverend George Buchanan will speak on Sunday, Dec. 18. Buchanan’s sermon, “Maladjustment and Acceptance” will speak to how all can respond to injustice. Reverend Martin Luther King reminds people to always be “mal-adjusted” to injustice. Other sources urge everyone to be more accepting. There is a Way through, keeping to the vision of Beloved Community while being open to what is happening now. All are invited to attend this service.

Children in grades K-5 will have class with teacher Cynthia Littleton and Benson Troccoli.

Childcare for those under the age of 5 will be provided as requested. Call the church’s voicemail, 679-7944, by Saturday at 5 p.m. if childcare will be needed.

Worship services are held each Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Grange Hall, 58 W. Main St. Fredonia. Call 679-7944, visit www.uucnc.org  or visit the page on Facebook at www.facebook.com/uucnc for more information.
